The school will run for 4 1/2 days: from 9:00 a.m. Monday, July 25 through noon Friday, July 29.
On-site Registration (school check-in and badge distribution) will take place in the Atkinson Hall lobby starting Monday at 8:00 a.m. See venue page for more details.
The school consists of a series of lectures by experts from ITER members, with a focus on ITER Scenarios and Control. The lectures will be at a level geared toward graduate students and early career scientists,
Half of two afternoons will be reserved for poster sessions.
Students are invited to present their work (it doesn't have to be on Scenarios and Control).
There will be prizes for the best posters.
We will take part of one afternoon off to visit local fusion facilities, tentatively the DIII-D National Tokamak Facility and the General Atomics Magnet Technology Center (where the ITER Central Solenoid modules are being built).
