COVID-19 Info

If you do not feel well,
please stay home to protect others.

General Information

MASKING

  • In accordance with California state and University guidance, masking is not required while in the Atkinson Hall auditorium, but it is highly encouraged.

  • Please note that there are stricter guidelines for testing and masking if you are staying in campus housing.

    • Please see the Housing page for details. They are also summarized below.

COVID TESTING

  • A negative COVID test is required ONLY for those who are staying in University housing apartments. This may be taken via rapid test, which is easily obtained at any pharmacy or drugstore, or via PCR. Tests must be taken within 48 hours prior to checking in at the UC San Diego apartments.

    1. Email mholtzman@ucsd.edu photo of either your negative rapid test or your negative PCR report within the 48 hour window prior to your check in time. Include the date and time the test was taken.

    2. If you are traveling internationally and your travel time will take more than 48 hours, we recommend packing a rapid test in your carry on.

    3. If for any reason you cannot access testing within 48 hours prior to checking in, please let us know and we will work with you to find a solution.

  • There is no testing requirement for those NOT staying in University apartments, but just attending the conference. However, we strongly encourage you to test anyway prior to attending.

EXISTING UCSD STUDENTS, STAFF & FACULTY

  • Existing UCSD students, staff and faculty must complete their daily symptom screener.

    • Must have green thumb to attend.

VACCINATION

  • In accordance with University guidelines, no proof of vaccination is required to attend.
